Transition month. Northern states see their last comfortable playing days as temperatures drop and daylight shrinks. Southern and western states enter their most pleasant season with mild temperatures and low humidity. November is an excellent time for disc golf in Arizona, Florida, Texas, and California.

Use November to practice putting at home if outdoor play becomes limited. A portable practice basket in your yard or garage keeps your short game sharp through the colder months. Even 15 minutes of daily putting practice pays dividends in spring.
