About ThrowSpot

ThrowSpot was built by disc golfers, for disc golfers. We believe finding your next round should be as easy as picking up a disc and throwing it.

Disc golf is the fastest-growing sport in America, with over 20 million players and thousands of new courses being installed every year in parks, forests, and recreation areas across all 50 states. Yet finding accurate, up-to-date information about where to play has always been harder than it should be.

Our Mission

ThrowSpot exists to be the most comprehensive, accurate, and useful disc golf course directory on the web. Every course in our database includes the details players actually need: hole count, par, terrain type, difficulty level, fees, amenities, and honest community reviews from players who've thrown every fairway.

What Makes ThrowSpot Different

Unlike apps that bury course information behind downloads and logins, ThrowSpot is a free, open directory that works in any web browser. We believe course information should be accessible to everyone โ€” from the seasoned tournament player planning a road trip to the curious beginner Googling "disc golf courses near me" for the first time.

Community-Driven Data

Our course data is sourced from the PDGA (Professional Disc Golf Association) and enriched by our growing community of players. Every review, rating, and course update comes from real disc golfers who've walked the fairways. If you notice anything missing or outdated, we make it easy to submit corrections.
